Why doesn't this Discover link work? Finding Persistent Links

You can't use the URL in the browser address bar to save links to articles you have found in Discover. Address bar links are for that search session only, so once you end that search session or close your browser, the link will no longer work, and you will be redirected to a blank Ebsco page when you try to use it.
You have to save what is called a "Permalink" to the article. On the right of the item record screen, click on the "Permalink" button. This will open up a new box containing a permanent URL. Copy and paste that URL to share a link to the article.
