Share Search Results

The URL for a search results page is durable. This allows you to copy the URL for EBSCO search results page and share it with others in the AU community. 

The link will remain active for 20 hours before requiring the user to reauthenticate using their AU credentials. 

 

Using the Share Button

To Share a permalink (persistent link) for an item record (article, book etc.) use the Share button. 

  1. Select the item's record and select the "Share" button. The "Share" button looks like a curved arrow facing right. Article Item record icons are located above the article title on the right hand side in the following order: bookmark, citing, add to folder, share and download. Share button looks like a curved arrow facing right.
  2. A  box will appear with note "Share" and "Email" options. Underneath the "Share" option select "Create link". Pop up dialogue window labelled "Share" with options "OneDrive" shown by the cloud icon and "Create Link" denoted by link icon.
  3. A permalink will appear under "Create link". Select "Copy to Clipboard" to copy the link. After selecting "Create Link" a URL will appear and underneath is the option to "Copy to Clipboard".
  4. You can then paste (Control + V).
