AU is not coming up in the institutional search in a database

If you access a database, you will often see an option to log in via your institution. AU Library has configured our access to subscription databases differently, and so these logins do not work (we also cannot make changes to database websites, so cannot remove these logins). Please access specific databases from the AU Library database list (this will take you into AU's subscription to this database).

if you find an article outside the library that says it is available through a particular database like JSTOR we might have access to the article, but we might have it through a different database and not JSTOR (it all depends on our subscriptions). You can use these steps to find out where you can access the article through AU Library.

Extra tip: Different databases tend to be picky in different ways. If you run into errors our recommendations are to try clearing your cache and cookies, click on the link again, try incognito mode, and try a different browser (do not use Safari or Explorer).
