Why doesn't this Discover link work? Finding Persistent Links

Answer

You can't use the URL in the browser address bar to save links to articles you have found in Discover. Address bar links are for that search session only, so once you end that search session or close your browser, the link will no longer work, and you will be redirected to a blank EBSCO page when you try to use it.

You have to save what is called a "Permalink" or "Permanent link" to the article. 

Click the "Share" icon (right facing arrow).

Item record. There are the following options(from left to right) listed above the item record on the right hand side: bookmark, cite, add to project, share, download.

Select "Copy to clipboard" and then you can then paste (Control +V) in a Word document or email.
