EBSCO Troubleshooting: EBSCO Systems Error Message

EBSCO (the main search box on the homepage) and EBSCO databases are currently experiencing intermittent technical issues. We are working with the vendor to resolve these issues. 

CINAHL and APA PsycInfo classic versions are still accessible hereIf this work around does not work, please try ProQuest Global, another large interdisciplinary database. See the instructions listed below for how to bypass the EBSCO systems error message. 

 

  1. Access the library website. Select the “Advanced Search” option located under the search bar. A screenshot of a computer

  2. You will be directed to sign in using your student or staff login information.

  3. Once you sign in you will see the EBSCO system error message. Click on “login again”.

  4. You will be brought to EBSCO’s “Select Resource” landing page. Select the first item on the list: “EBSCOhost Web” hyperlink.

  5. This will then direct you to the Discover (main library search bar). You can continue your Discover search here. If you would like to search a specific EBSCO database, keep this browser window open and open a new browser to access the Find Databases list. A screenshot of a computer
